About Us
Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat is a Cabinet Minister in the Uttarakhand government and represents the Srinagar Garhwal constituency. Born in a remote village in Pauri Garhwal, he completed his early education locally and went on to earn a master’s and PhD in History from Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University.
A senior leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party, he has held key portfolios including higher education, health, disaster management, cooperatives, and dairy development. Known for his academic background and grassroots connection, Dr. Rawat blends administrative experience with a strong commitment to public service and regional development in the Himalayan state.
